Greetings to all!

It's weekend again!

As many of us are preparing for the exams, we hereby wish everyone good luck and all the best for your exams!

Let's take a breather and let us share with you a Phantasia Trivia today! Today will be the three cuddly siblings that we always known as the Three Little Pigs!

Do you know??

The Three Little Pigs was written by James Orchard Halliwell-Phillips in the collection of 'The nursery rhymes of England' in 1886. However it was best well known for the tale written Joseph Jacobs in the 'English Fairy Tales' in 1890.

The story illustrates the 3 main characters were sent off by their mother to "seek their fortune" and with that the three little pigs built their own houses in which the first 2  pigs' houses of straw and sticks respectively was blown down by the big bad wolf that let them to seek refuge in their brother's house of bricks. Failing to blow down the house of bricks, the big bad wolf decided to climb down the chimney to enter the house. Little did he know that what awaits him at the bottom of the chimney was a pot of boiling water that the 3 little pigs had prepared.

There are also other variation of the story.

One of which was written by Andrew   Langs. In his story, the three piglets were named Browny, Whitey and Blacky and the big bad wolf was replaced by a fox instead. The story ends with Blacky saving his brother and sister from the fox den which was also different from the story written by Jacobs.

There are more variation to the story which you can find out more from wikipedia http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three_Little_Pigs#section_1 .
